Announcements

The 3rd International Conference on Carbon Neutrality (ICCN-2027) will take place in Shanghai, China, September 3-5, 2027. ICCN-2027 will be hosted by Shanghai Jiao Tong University (SJTU) and the Chinese Society of Engineering Thermophysics (CSET), organized by the journal Carbon Neutrality, and co-organized by the School of Mechanical Engineering of SJTU. ICCN-2027 is supported by the Asian Union of Thermal Science and Engineering (AUTSE) and the Journal Center of SJTU. This biennial event builds on the success of the previous conferences in 2023 and 2025, which attracted over 400 attendees from around the world.

Achieving carbon neutrality requires a profound and systematic transformation across technology and society, reshaping traditional modes of energy production and consumption. As a multi-disciplinary and comprehensive research area, carbon neutrality intersects with critical fields such as low-carbon energy and carbon sink.

The primary goal of ICCN-2027 is to unite leading scientists, engineers, and industry experts to exchange insights, share breakthroughs, and foster collaborations that will accelerate the global progress toward carbon neutrality.

We warmly invite innovative researchers, forward-thinking engineers, and students from all over the world to participate in ICCN-2027. Join us in shaping the future of carbon neutrality!
